Jerry Watson, founder of Keystruct Construction, LLC is a professional engineer with degrees from Lehigh University and York College of Pennsylvania. He was named “Young Engineer of the Year” in 1992 by the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers.
Jerry’s driving vision for Keystruct is not to be the biggest contractor in the area — but to be the most customer focused. “We specialize in certain industries so that we can immerse ourselves in our customer’s specific needs — and achieve their unique objectives.”
Jerry’s philosophy toward customer relationships sets Keystruct apart in the industry. “I believe it’s critical for our customers to have one-on-one, trusting relationships with our team.”
Doug Leister has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial and industrial construction industries along with additional experience in institutional, healthcare, and elder care construction. He began his construction career as a carpenter and has been working in construction management for more than 20 years.
At Keystruct, Doug oversees the estimating and project management teams. He reviews estimates, works closely with potential clients on their objectives and generates work for the company. He also ensures that Keystruct’s current jobs are productive, tracks costs and works directly with the existing clients to meet their needs.
Deanna Copp graduated from Harford Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and has put her degree to work primarily in the construction industry. She is working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at York College of Pennsylvania. As the Controller for the Keystruct Team, Deanna is responsible for all financial reporting and accounting functions.
Bill Loy has more than 45 years of experience in the construction industry. He has previously worked as a carpenter, foreman, superintendent, estimator, project manager and safety director before joining the Keystruct team as an estimator.
Bill has vast knowledge of the healthcare and institutional industries, as well as many other general construction specialty areas. Additionally, Bill is our primary resource for Butler® Building System estimates, working closely with the customer and the building manufacturer to ensure each project is a success.
Mark McAbee has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He has previously worked as a carpenter, crane operator, contractor salesman, building materials outside salesman, commercial sales estimator, pre-construction manager, and manager of a construction division before settling into his position at Keystruct. Mark has vast knowledge of the healthcare, senior living, educational, and industrial markets.
In his role as Senior Estimator, Mark will draw on his experiences to develop accurate pricing for our customers by utilizing his network of business partners. Additionally, his intricate knowledge of construction will allow him to develop realistic schedules that ensure the customer’s goals are achieved while working within their unique budget structures.
Kirk Taylor has over 30 years of construction experience, beginning his career as a carpenter. He worked his way up to become a foreman and then a superintendent, interim safety director, project manager, and now he provides his expertise to the Pre-Construction department.
Kirk’s ability to plan and organize job site manpower and equipment needed to complete projects give him insight to offer the right guidance during pre-construction. His hands-on knowledge of field work and his attention to detail provide accurate costs and schedules that will meet the client’s needs and expectations, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
With over 30 years of in-depth construction experience, Rob offers the knowledge and skills necessary to provide estimating, value engineering, and cost modeling services from the pre-construction phase through bidding. Additionally, he is an exceptional resource during the construction phase of the project, providing assistance to the project management staff and field personnel.
As part of the Keystruct team, Rob reviews and interprets the drawings and specifications for each project to gain a complete understanding of the scope of work. He obtains pricing from trusted subcontractors and ensures that the cost models and any value engineering plans reflect up-to-date pricing, delivering accurate budgets for the owner.
Mike Dorgan has over 40 years of experience with commercial and industrial construction. Over the years, Mike has been responsible for coordination between the contractor, subcontractors, suppliers, and client to ensure that the project goals are achieved.
As a certified LEED AP, Mike brings expertise in sustainable building practices to our clients. He plans, organizes, directs, and controls, the preparation and execution of construction contracts, and meets objectives related to cost, quality, safety, and satisfaction.
Nate Leister has over 5 years of experience in the construction industry. Utilizing his skills with carpentry and finish work, and his educational background, attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Nate is a valuable part of the Project Management team.
As Project Manager, Nate is responsible for contractor/client coordination throughout the construction process. He ensures that objectives are met related to cost, quality, safety and client satisfaction.
Dave Marks has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, including work as a carpenter, foreman, superintendent, project manager, division manager, senior project manager, director of QC/QA, and director of field operations. This unique skill set brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Keystruct team.
As Project Manager/Superintendent, Dave will see the project through from inception to completion. As the main point of contact for the project, he focuses on cost controls and reviews, submittal processing, subcontractor buyout, field operations, and safety, as well as acting as a liaison between the owner and the construction team.
Steve Dukehart has over 35 years of experience in steel and general construction. Beginning as a laborer, he worked his way into drafting and then made the move to estimating. He has a diverse background in all facets of contracting, including commercial, industrial, educational, and healthcare.
As part of the Steel Division at Keystruct, Steve works with potential customers to establish budgets and expectations. His varied knowledge of structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and ornamental iron allow him to provide precise proposals with sometimes limited bidding documents.
Ryan Emig leads and coordinates the day-to-day activities of our fabrication operation. This includes estimating and assigning tasks to welder and fabricator crews, and then ensuring all work is completed in an acceptable manner.
He plans, organizes, and schedules the daily shop/field manpower and equipment needed to complete projects within the specified time frame, while staying within budget, and meeting quality standards and welding codes. Ryan also monitors shop and jobsite safety to ensure a safe working environment.
Kelly Tetkoskie has over 20 years of marketing and communications experience within the A/E/C industry. She has developed targeted proposals and packages, branded collateral, and media strategies to support the organization’s message to our clients.
As Marketing Specialist, Kelly supports the Pre-Construction and Business Development efforts, as well as assisting the Project team with specialized documents and graphic materials. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Pennsylvania State University and is certified by Clemson University as a Construction Industry Technician.
